Craft Show

My friend Molly and I (me?) got a table at a local school craft show.  It was fun but not very productive.  I sold a pair of fingerless mitts for a 20% discount at the last minute.  Molly didn't sell anything even though people came by and stroked her knitting.  Her bamboo yarn catches everyone's eye.  My wool yarn does not.

The Boy's Quilt Top

After almost 2 years, I finally sat down and sewed up the quilt top for my son.  Maybe it will be done by Christmas.  These a few of the blocks.

Where have all the tomatoes gone?

The last time I posted I had ordered seeds. Well the garden was kind of a flop this year. Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee made the tomatoes explode. I had beans. Would have had more if HI hadn't knocked down the bean poles. I had broccoli. We've had some frost already.

We've got a new puppy, a beautiful German Shepherd.

I started an Etsy page to try and sell some of my knitting so I can justify my excesively large yarn stash.

Spring is on its way

I spent a good part of early winter working on presents and stuff. I have made approximately 6 hats. I made wallets for a friend to give as gifts and a quilted table topper for my sportsmen's club holiday party raffle.

Seeds are ordered.

Yikes!

The Summer went by fast. Locke is in all day Kindergarten now. I'm knitting, quilting and trying to keep the house clean and the budget under control. It's not going really well. I also started a jogging program. I can't call it running yet. I'm moving to slow. At least I'm moving.

Busy Summer

The boy graduated from Pre-K, started swimming lessons and resumed piano lessons. Busy, busy, busy. The garden looks awful. I think there is lettuce amongst the weeds. Someday I'll get back to sewing.
